Henry Dwyer Racing – Wednesday Preview

The Henry Dwyer Racing stable has four runners today at Bendigo in IRISH VALENTINE, LEXINGTON LAD, TELEKINESIS and MASTERKINDU.

Bendigo – Good (4)

Race 2 (1.35pm) TAC Be Races Ready 3YO Fillie’s Maiden

No.4 IRISH VALENTINE – Lucinda Boyd (Barrier 7)

IRISH VALENTINE heads to Bendigo today where she will tackle a 1400m Maiden. She has drawn gate seven and Lucinda Boyd will take the ride.

We have had a few stop and starts with her but she is in good order now and ready to make her debut today. This is very much a starting point today and she will be much better for the run, she will enjoy the experience today and hoping she can stay in touch with them as many of these will be too sharp for her. Not a betting proposition today.

TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $61 (as at 8am)

Race 4 (2.45pm) Race Services Maiden Plate

No.3 LEXINGTON LAD – Lucinda Boyd (Barrier 8)

LEXINGTON LAD also heads to Bendigo today where he will be second-up in a 1600m Maiden. He has drawn gate eight and Lucinda Boyd will ride.

He was plain first up although he needed the run, he will be going back to the rear of the field from the barrier and will be coming home around the outside late. He probably again needs the run today for fitness with an eye to going over further in the near future. It’s not an overly strong maiden and hopefully he will be hitting the line late and he might be thereabouts in the placings.

TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $9.50 (as at 8am)

Race 5 (3.20pm) Silks Events & Functions BM64 Handicap

No.5 TELEKINESIS – Michael Poy (Barrier 6)

TELEKINESIS also heads to Bendigo today where he will resume in a 1100m BM64. He has drawn gate six and Michael Poy will ride.

His jump-out recently was good on the synthetic and he heads to the races with further improvement to come out of today’s run. He won’t be dug out of the gates and Michael can land wherever he settles, he might feel the pinch a bit late in this race but all going well he should be finishing off well and land in the first four with an eye to being spot on next start.

TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $9 (as at 8am)

Race 6 (3.55pm) The Big Screen Company BM64 Handicap

No.9 MASTERKINDU – Lucinda Boyd (Barrier 9)

MASTERKINDU is our final runner at Bendigo today where he will run in a 2400m BM64. He has drawn gate nine and Lucinda Boyd will ride.

MASTERKINDU was an impressive winner last start at Mornington, breaking his maiden status after five starts. He remain at the same distance today but is up in class so will need to improve off this last run, however he will have good fitness and from a sticky barrier should be midfield in the run. He faces some stiff competition today including last start city winner EATON, however with a bit of luck he might be thereabouts in the first four come the winning post.

TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $19 (as at 8am)
