The Henry Dwyer Racing stable has one runner today with RIDING HIGH running at Warrnambool on Day 2 of the Carnival.
Warrnambool – Heavy (8)
The track has come up a Heavy 8 with no rain or irrigation applied overnight. It looked like it raced more like a Soft 7 on Day 1 of the Carnival, with a significant advantage to be on the inside along the rail. This is less important in the jumps racing so won’t impact our runner today.
Race 4 (12.55pm) Decron Dunroe BM120 Steeplechase
No.4 RIDING HIGH – Steven Pateman (Barrier 5)
RIDING HIGH heads to Day 2 of the Warrnambool May Carnival where he will contest a 3450m BM120 Steeplechase. He has drawn gate five and Steve Pateman will ride.
RIDING HIGH is in good order ahead of his run today, this looks a really good race for him today, MICHELIN looks the most experienced runner and stiffest competition today along with AMERICAN IN PARIS, but that is offset with our jockey being Pateman who is the best in the business. With luck in running he should really be taking this out given his jumping ability and talent over many of these on the flat and with Pateman onboard the confidence is high we can get the job done.
TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $2.70 (as at 8am)
