The Henry Dwyer Racing stable has three runners today in KASAMI, ALORS TU CROIS and TELEKINESIS running at Ararat.
Ararat – Soft (5)
Race 1 (1.30pm) Carlton Draught F&M Maiden Plate
No.5 KASAMI – John Allen (Barrier 8)
KASAMI heads to Ararat today where she will tackle an 1100m Maiden. She has drawn gate eight with John Allen to ride.
KASAMI brings good racetrack form through her three starts across two preparations. Her jump-outs leading into this had been just fair and they have only really been used to tick her over. She will roll forward and put herself in the early firing line, which is rarely a disadvantage at Ararat, but she isn’t totally screwed down as yet and will certainly benefit from the run here.
LILY ALLEZ certainly looks the horse to beat and KASAMI looks like her class will see her a good chance to fill the placings here behind the Patrick Payne horse.
TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $3.40 (as at 8am)

Race 2 (2pm) Home of Bakeology 3YO Maiden Plate
No.10 ALORS TU CROIS – Michael Poy (Barrier 2)
ALORS TU CROIS also heads to Ararat to debut where she will contest a 1300m Maiden. She has drawn gate two and Tahlia Hope will ride.
ALORS TU CROIS has had three jump-outs leading into this so she should be well-conditioned for the 1300m on debut. She looks like a horse that can take up a spot somewhere near enough to the speed here on debut and on her work the 1300m looks a lovely kick-off point, as she may well get out over a bit of ground. Her jump-outs were solid enough and this isn’t an overly strong race to kick start her career.
She’s a filly with a nice action and today is a really nice starting point. She will put herself on pace and with the scratchings in the race she certainly comes into contention at each way odds.
TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $9.50 (as at 8am)

Race 7 (4.30pm) Bet365 Top Tote Plus BM58 Handicap
No.7 TELEKINESIS – John Allen (Barrier 2)
TELEKINESIS heads to Ararat today where he will contest a 1300m BM58. He has drawn gate two and John Allen will ride.
TELEKINESIS dropped back to a 0-58 at Geelong last time out and gave a really good sight up on speed when getting control of the race. Provided he jumps cleanly he can make the most of a good draw and this isn’t much tougher than last time out. If he can find his best, he’s good enough to win this, if he holds his level from last start then he’s a place hope.
He should be able to take the lead comfortably here which favours him given the track suits those on pace and hopefully he can get the win.
TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $5 (as at 8am)
