Henry Dwyer Racing – Tuesday Preview

The Henry Dwyer Racing stable has one runner today with KASAMI at Ballarat.

Ballarat – Soft (5)

The rail is back to the true position today having been out 8m from the 800m mark to the post at the most recent meeting when it was a big advantage to be well off the fence. With that inside strip nice and fresh you’d expect the track to race well and, if anything, slightly favour those on speed.

Race 3 (2.30pm) The Haymarket Maiden Plate

No.8 KASAMI– Lucinda Boyd (Barrier 4)

KASAMI heads to Ballarat today where she will tackle an 1100m Maiden. She has drawn gate four and Lucinda Boyd will ride.

KASAMI has been the bridesmaid in both starts to date but has certainly shown ability in each start. She was narrowly beaten at Warrnambool first up and the form has already been somewhat ‘franked’ with the fifth-placed Written In History bolting in on Monday. This looks to be a competitive maiden and won’t be a matter of just turning up and winning, she will need to get a nice run in transit.

From gate four she can camp just on the back of that genuine tempo and she is the one to clearly beat, but she is short enough at even money.

TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $2.10 (as at 8am)
