THE BELLE runs at Mornington today where she will tackle a 1000m 3YO Maiden at her first start. She has drawn gate eight and Ben Allen will ride.
This is a good starting point for her today in her career, she’s in really good order and she is fit enough to put in a forward showing today, giving her a quiet ten days or so since her trial to allow her to get to today feeling well and sound. She will no doubt get a little bit of improvement fitness wise today and this might be her only run this campaign. The improving track towards a soft rating will be ideal for her and we may need a little luck from the tricky barrier.
She will settle where she is comfortable and hopefully with some cover and we are hoping she can finish in the first five or six.
