Race 7 (4.30pm) Warrnambool Tyre Plus BM58 Handicap
No.3 TELEKINESIS – John Allen (Barrier 5)
TELEKINESIS heads to Warrnambool today where he will contest an 1100m BM58. He has drawn gate five and John Allen will ride.
This looks a great race for TELEKINESIS who comes out of a reasonably high-rating BM58 at Mildura when second last time out. The winner and third horse out of that race have since won and his effort to get home strongly back to the inside section of the track was very good. He has been back to the jump-outs between runs and looked to move very well in running third there. The blinkers are on for the first time on race day today and given he only needs to hold his level to prove the horse to beat, any improvement would be a huge plus.
We definetly want the rain to stay away as the soft surface doesn’t help his cause, so we will be watching the skies. He can clearly win this race as his best is good enough, but with one win from 13 starts he can be hard to catch, but hopefully that day is today.
