Race 7 (4pm) Thank You and Farewell Frank Beattie BM64
No.1 MOSCOW RED – Tianna Chapman a(4) (Barrier 1)
MOSCOW RED heads to Warrnambool today where she will contest a 1400m BM64. She has drawn gate one and Tianni Chapman is set to ride with her 4kg claim.
MOSCOW RED loves the slop. She has had 24 goes on wet tracks for five wins and a further nine placings. She drops way back in grade here from a BM84 at Flemington and she jumped-out well recently leading into this campaign. She was just fair first-up, but will derive good benefit for the run and getting onto her favourite heavy conditions can certainly improve back in grade. The four kilo claim will really help here for MOSCOW RED and this is certainly a race she can be competitive on her best form.
She’s not totally screwed down here today so will improve off the run, from barrier one she will need some luck in running, but her class should take her a long way in this field and she’s a top 3 chance here.
