Bendigo
Race 3 – Quick Fingers
Jockey – Tahlia Hope
1000m – Barrier 9
Quick Fingers returns for her three-year-old campaign today from the 1000-metre chute at Bendigo. The daughter of Caravaggio had just one start as a two-year-old, running a sound race at Swan Hill over the 975-metre dash. The filly resumes here on the back of a couple of quiet jumpouts and jockey Tahlia Hope has a long run to the bend to find a position from an outside draw. Trainer Henry Dwyer has hinted that his runner isn’t fully wound up for today’s assignment but expects her to run a good race and will be looking for improvement at her next outing. Motitsi looks hardest to beat here, conceding chances to Syncretism and Stop The Music.
From the trainer:
She’s come back a lot better.
She’ll improve with the run…she’s probably 80% fit.
She’ll be a good chance second-up.
Currently, Quick Fingers is a $15 chance in the market.
