The Henry Dwyer Racing stable has two runners today in HELEVA DEEL and STRATESSA at Kyneton.
Kyneton- Good (4)
The rail is out 6m from the 1200m mark to the winning post on Thursday having been out 4m at the most recent Kyneton meeting. Kyneton is a momentum track where those who are building revs before the home bend are generally well served. With the rail out 4m in recent times horses have tended to get off the fence, but those three meetings have all been on tracks with a little give in them. (Form Analyst Matt Welsh)
Race 5 (3:30pm) Carlingford BM58 Handicap 1887m
No.9 HELEVA DEEL – Mitch Aitken (Barrier 3)
HELEVA DEEL (4) heads to Kyneton on Thursday where she will contest an 1887m BM58 (Race 5, 3.30pm). She has drawn gate four and Mitch Aitken will ride.
HELEVA DEEL comes into this with the best recent rating of any of her rivals having finished second d at this track and trip last start, narrowly beaten by Halcyon. Her two runs at this unique Kyneton track have both been good, so she has no issue getting around the circuit. From gate four, she should get a lovely run in the race and she should get the opportunity to build momentum at the right time, as they work towards the home bend. She has come up the early favourite and on recent form it is easy to see why.(Form Analyst Matt Welsh)

Race 8 (5:00pm) bet365 Racing Refunds BM58 Handicap 1459m
No.2 STRATESSA – Michael Poy (Barrier 3)
STRATESSA (3) heads to Kyneton on Thursday where she will contest a 1459m BM58 (Race 8, 5.00pm). She has drawn gate three and Michael Poy rides.
STRATESSA worked home steadily in stronger company at Warrnambool last time out after spotting them a big start from the wide draw. Her win prior at the same track – aided by a brilliant ride – was solid in BM58 company and back to this grade again on Thursday she has a strong winning hope. She is 2/3 at BM58 level and she seems to relish the 1400m trips. The little knock is she is going to get back in a race there doesn’t look a huge amount of tempo but that said, she does have a good enough turn-of-foot to get herself out of trouble.
