THE SISCOS KID heads to Pakenham tonight, where he will contest a 1200m BM70. He has drawn gate three, and Blaike McDougall will ride.
THE SISCOS KID comes into this race fresh of a break after his last start second at Stawell on the 7th of January. He has been down at the St Leonards base making the most of the beach and calm surroundings to allow him to come into this run as fresh as possible. Dropping back to 1200 tonight he will need to be switched on and settling off them he should be hitting the line strongly and progress through the grades this preparation.
Game in the placings both runs this campaign, only just missing out on the prize at latest.
