The Henry Dwyer Racing stable has three runners today at Kyneton in TOP CRITIC, PEACE BROTHER and RIGHTHERE RIGHTNOW.
Kyneton is a momentum track and with a short straight horses need to be making there runs well before the home bend.
Kyneton – Soft (6)
Race 1 (1pm) Bet365 Top Tote Plus 3YO Maiden
No.15 TOP CRITIC – Michael Poy (Barrier 7)
TOP CRITIC heads to Kyneton today where she will tackle a 1212m Maiden. She has drawn gate seven and Michael Poy will ride.
TOP CRITIC comes out of a reasonable rating race on debut at Geelong. She went around a huge price there on the back of a couple of quiet jump-outs, but her performance outstripped her odds and she will be better for that experience. She was home the third-best last 600m split of the entire meeting which is even more impressive given she ran out of room late and came home the 24th best last 200m split. She was snagged back to last from a wide draw on debut but with race experience under her belt and a better alley up to 1200m here she will slot in just behind the leaders and could be hard to catch.
TOP CRITIC has a great chance given she will be forward in her position with her main competitors needing to run her down.
TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $8 (as at 8am)

Race 6 (4pm) Bet365 Protest Promise BM64 Handicap
No.4 PEACE BROTHER – Laura Lafferty a(2) (Barrier 4)
PEACE BROTHER also heads to Kyneton today where he will tackle an 1875m BM64 . He has drawn gate four and Laura Lafferty will ride.
PEACE BROTHER has the blinkers back on here, which is a bit of a roll of the dice, and he will look to take the lead in the run. He was up on a really strong tempo over 2443m at Geelong last start and was the best of those on speed after the leaders fell in a hole late after working early. The step back in trip is suitable and with a soft time in front he can be most competitive.
There is some strong competition today, but he’s rock hard fit and been up a long time, so he will give himself every chance by being up front on a track that generally favours those in the first half of the field.
TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $15 (as at 8am)

Race 7 (4.30pm) TAC Be Races Ready BM64 Handicap
No.11 RIGHTHERE RIGHTNOW – Mitch Aitken (Barrier 7)
RIGHTHERE RIGHTNOW is our third runner at Kyneton today where she will contest a 1469m BM64. She has drawn gate ten and Mitch Aitken will ride.
She is a last start winner after holding on to win at Tatura over 1450 metres with a great ride from Mitch Aitken who again rides her today. Previous to that run she finished fourth at Pakenham on the synthetic. She is stepping up in grade today and faces some stiff competition in INFLUENTIAL JACK who looks very hard to beat. With three kilos on the favourite and some luck in running, RIGHTHERE RIGHTNOW is a very good chance to fill the placings in a wide open race.
TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $10 (as at 8am)
