Henry Dwyer Racing – Sunday preview

Werribee

Race 1 – Summasweet

Jockey – Tahlia Hope

2000m – Barrier 5

Three-year-old fill Summasweet has her career second start at Werribee this afternoon, quickly stepping out to the 2000-metre trip. The daughter of Almanzor was plain on debut at Penshurst, beaten a long way over 1400-metres, and the stable will be hoping the rise in trip can trigger a better performance today. Jockey Tahlia Hope rides from a good gate, giving her the opportunity to settle forward in the run at a track that can favour those near the speed. The Dwyer filly will derive benefit from the run, however will need to show more than her first outing to evoke some confidence from her camp. This looks a tough race with a few main chances at the top of the market, but Dwyer will be looking for his runner to show improvement and finish closer in this contest.

Currently, Summasweet is a $35 chance in the market.
