The Henry Dwyer Racing stable has one runner today in VALENTINO’S ON at Geelong.
Geelong – Soft (5)
Geelong is rated a Soft 5 and with largely fine weather forecast it should either hold that range or get up to a Good 4. Geelong has been racing very well since it returned from a renovation a couple of months back and with the rail back to the true position (after being out 9m at the most recent meeting, there will be plenty of fresh ground closer to the inside).

No.13 VALENTINO’S ON – Lucinda Boyd (Barrier 5)
VALENTINO’S ON heads to Geelong today where she will debut in a 1400m Maiden. She has drawn gate five and Lucinda Boyd will take the ride.
VALENTINO’S ON will likely get out over further as her career unfolds but this 1400m trip is a lovely kick off point. She has had about five or six jump-outs, the most recent of which she moved very well at Geelong. She has drawn well in gate five to get a nice run in transit, with Lucinda having done all of the work on her today knowing her well ahead of her debut today.
She has improved this preparation and is ready to make her debut today, but she is no doubt bred to get over further. She has the tongue tie on today, with our aim to see her finish off in the run and show us something ahead of going to the mile next start. She will be much better for the experience today and more likely going to be competitive second-up.
