Henry Dwyer Racing – Sunday Preview

The Henry Dwyer Racing stable has one runner today at Ballarat in HELEVA DEEL.

Ballarat – Soft (6)

Ballarat is rated a Soft 6 after 27mm of rain for the week. It will undoubtedly improve with largely fine weather forecast but will remain in the Soft range.

Race 4 (1.20pm) Cervus Equipment SV 3YO Maiden Plate

No.11 HELEVA DEEL – Ben Allen (Barrier 3)

HELEVA DEEL heads to Ballarat today where she will resume in a 1200m Maiden. She has drawn gate three and Ben Allen will ride.

HELEVA DEEL resumes today after coming through three reasonably high-rating maidens in her first racing preparation and it’s only a matter of time before she breaks her maiden. She has prepped up nicely for this with jump-outs at Stawell and Avoca and the soft conditions will suit her, as will the track which she is trained on. The 1200 metres is probably short of what she is looking for, she will settle in the second half of the field and be doing her best work late. She’s not fully wound up enough or fit enough to probably be winning this today at this distance, FOXY FRIDA looks the winner and hopefully we can run on to finish somewhere in the top 4.

One to follow later this preparation.
