No.5 JUSTABITCRACKERS – Tahlia Hope (Barrier 10)
JUSTABITCRACKERS heads to Geelong today where she will contest a 1100m Maiden. She has drawn gate ten and Tahlia Hope will ride.
JUSTABITCRACKERS is kicking off her campaign after a spell and is having just her second start. The stable has a lot of time for this filly but she is going to need further, she’s only had the one jump-out at Geelong and she trialled really nicely, with this race a good starting point where we will look to teach her to settle and to finish off. She looks like she will stay so we are running her short of her best distance today and are using it as an education run to get her into a good head space for later in her campaign.
Her talent will see her finish off strongly here but it might be too short to find her in the money.

Race 5 (3.31pm) Grovers Rural Supplies 0-58 Handicap
No.3 TELEKINESIS – Michael Poy (Barrier 10)
TELEKINESIS also heads to Geelong today where he will contest a 1100m 0 – 58 Handicap. He has drawn gate ten and Michael Poy will ride.
TELEKINESIS was really disappointing last start at Warrnambool last week so the plan is to give him a quick back-up. He had the blinkers off and winkers on last start to mix things up a bit and while he was destined to head to Adelaide to be trained, we are keen to give him another run here to send him off on a good note. His start prior at Geelong was good after missing the start so he clearly likes the track and he can certainly improve today. He simply didn’t apply himself last start so forget he went around and therefore his form reads ok for this race.
He’s one from 14 so he is short enough at his current quote but he should be going close here.

Race 7 (4.46pm) Ballan Community Bank Cup
No.3 UNDER OATH – Michael Poy (Barrier 2)
UNDER OATH is our third runner at Geelong where he will contest a 1500m BM 78. He has drawn gate two and Michael Poy will ride.
UNDER OATH gets a tongue tie and cross-over nose band on and this is a grade of race he can compete well in today. He’s been freshened which he seems to appreciate after a disappointing couple of runs following a strong win at Murray Bridge. 1500 metres is a nice distance for him to give him a chance to get warm and while he will step up in distance this campaign, if he gets a nice run in transit from the inside barrier he will be running on late.
Scratchings has decimated this field and there are a couple of quality gallopers here including TYCOON BEC, so he might struggle to get into the placings, but watch for him late.

ART DEALER is our final runner at Geelong today where he will contest a 1300m 0 – 58. He has drawn gate three and Michael Poy will ride.
ART DEALER appears to be our best chance for the day having drawn well in barrier four and coming off a really good run first-up two starts ago. First-up at Ballarat he got back in a shorter race and ran on well, while last start at Hamilton over 1400 metres he was a tad disappointing, but the track there can be a little bit tricky and the Geelong course will suit much better. The winkers go on and this race looks a very winnable race with the competition he faces.
If you can forgive last start, he is a good winning chance at each-way odds.
