The Henry Dwyer Racing stable has two runners today, with WIN FALL and VISTABELLE at Flemington in the last race.
Flemington – Soft (7)
Race 9 (4.37pm) Schweppes Rivette Series Final
No.15 WIN FALL – Ben Melham (Barrier 1)
WIN FALL heads to Headquarters today for the last race of the day and we have Ben Melham riding after the pair combined for her first win at Geelong.
She’s in great order and while the preference was to draw out a little, barrier one isn’t the worst result and we will just need a bit of luck, but in saying that we have the right rider engaged. She’s fit and well and while likely she will be tipped out to the paddock post this run after a good campaign, we are hoping she can finish on a high. Better than her odds suggest, one to include in your multiples.
TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $19 (as at 8am)
No.17 VISTABELLE – Ben Allen (Barrier 12)
VISTABELLE joins WIN FALL in the last race of the day at Flemington after gaining a run as first emergency, with Ben Allen engaged to ride. She has drawn wide but that might help her at that stage of the day (and might not help WIN FALL).
This filly is going well after her last start demolition job on the synthetic at Ballarat where she lead and kept going to break her maiden status. Clearly this is much harder and while we are throwing her in the deep end going to town, she has some untapped ability and wouldn’t surprise me if she ran on well at a good price.
TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $41 (as at 8am)
