Henry Dwyer Racing – Monday Preview

The Henry Dwyer Racing stable has one runner today in PALATIAL PRINCE running at Kyneton.

Kyneton – Good (4)

Race 1 (1.30pm) Hygain 3YO Maiden Plate

No.5 PALATIAL PRINCE – Damien Thornton (Barrier 4)

PALATIAL PRINCE heads to Kyneton today where he will make his debut in an 1100m 3YO Maiden. He has drawn gate four and Damien Thornton rides.

PALATIAL PRINCE has had four jump-outs leading in to this, more to help his learning rather than gain fitness. He ran second to the current race favourite in UPTOWN LUCY two jump-outs back at Avoca where she certainly had his measure. He has shown with each jumpout he is switching on more and responding under riding and while he strikes a very tough maiden on debut and may find a couple better, he will be running on late.

Today is really going to be an extension of his education so far from what he has learnt in his trials. He will be ridden neutral from the barrier and will look pass a few late, with an aim to finish in the first half of the field before being more competitive later in the campaign.

TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $26 (as at 8am)
