Henry Dwyer Racing – Monday Preview

The Henry Dwyer Racing stable has one runner today with TOP CRITIC running at Kyneton.

Kyneton – Soft (6)

The rail goes back to the true having been out 4m at the most recent meeting so expect that inside three metres to hold up well on today’s Soft 6 track.

Race 2 (1.30pm) Hygain Maiden Plate

No.11 TOP CRITIC – Will Price (Barrier 6)

TOP CRITIC heads to Kyneton today where she will resume in a 1200m Maiden. She has drawn gate six and Will Price will ride.

TOP CRITIC has had two jump-outs this preparation, the first of which was very soft but she worked to the line nicely against a few handy types in her most recent Avoca hit-out. TOP CRITIC got back in a strong race on debut at Geelong last preparation before coming here to Kyneton where she led them up over 1212m and was only overrun the last 50m. The second and third horse out of her last start both won the next time they stepped out, which bodes well for the form.

This is the easiest race she has contested and she’s a winning hope given her competition today, with some good improvement still to come this campaign.
