Henry Dwyer Racing – Friday Preview

The Henry Dwyer Racing stable has one runner today at Geelong in first starter HELEVA DEEL.

The track is currently rated a Soft 6 but there’s a bit more rain in the forecast and it may get to a Soft 7. The rail is right out in the 12m position and with wear and tear closer to the inside, they will get away from the fence as the day goes on.

Geelong – Soft (6)

Race 2 (1pm) A List Racing 3yo Maiden Plate

No.11 HELEVA DEEL – Ben Allen (Barrier 3)

HELEVA DEEL heads to Geelong today where she will make her debut in a 1250m Maiden. She has drawn gate three and Ben Allen will ride.

HELEVA DEEL has had two pretty soft jump-outs at both Ballarat and Burrumbeet and hasn’t been let off the chain in either jump-out this preparation, but she moves well enough and being a daughter of Dundeel, she will be looking for further in her career with 1400m where she will show her best.

In a tough race, today is a good kick-off point for this nice filly and probably not a betting proposition today.
