The Henry Dwyer Racing stable has two runners today in THE DOMINATOR and ART DEALER at Swan Hill.
Swan Hill – Good (4)
Swan Hill is rated a Good 4 and they haven’t raced here at Swan Hill since the middle of February so expect the track to be even right across. Despite the long, 470m home straight at Swan Hill is can often be an advantage to be on speed.
Race 7 (4.30pm) Pooles Accountant BM58 Handicap
No.3 THE DOMINATOR – Will Price (Barrier 1)
THE DOMINATOR heads to Swan Hill today where he will contest a 1600m BM58. He has drawn gate one and Will Price will take the ride.
THE DOMINATOR kicks-off his preparation today, he has been a long time in work and has had a while between runs, his jump out at Stawell 12 days ago was impressive and will hold him in good stead for today. The 1600 metres is well short of his best distance and he is obviously a jumper, but he is going as well as he can and in previous preparations he has always run well on the fresh side and this is as weak as a race he has run in fresh.
Back in this grade albeit carrying weight, he will acquit himself well today with Will Price in the saddle, who will ride for luck from the barrier and if that luck appears he can certainly finish in the money ahead of what looks like a big preparation over the jumps ahead.
TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $9.50 (as at 8am)

Race 8 (5pm) Buzbiz BM64 Handicap
No.6 ART DEALER – Will Price (Barrier 9)
ART DEALER also heads to Swan Hill today where he will contest a 1300m BM64. He has drawn gate nine and Will Price will take the ride.
ART DEALER was home the best last 600/400/200m splits of the meeting off a moderate tempo there to win well two back at Colac. He went to Sandown last time out and got back in what was an on-speed dominated race. With the slow early tempo he had to work hard in the mid-race section just to stay in touch before getting past a couple of them late. The wider draw is a touch awkward but with even luck in running he can certainly improve on last start.
The field is not much weaker than his last start at Sandown, the blinkers come off today with the winkers going on, he will need to find a spot midfield from the barrier and he will need luck to be fighting out the finish. Strong enough race and his odds reflect his chances today.
TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $15 (as at 8am)
