Henry Dwyer Racing – Saturday Preview

The Henry Dwyer Racing stable has one runner today in DIAMONDSANDPEARLS running at Hamilton.

Hamilton – Soft (7)

The track is a Soft 7 but it will undoubtedly improve as the day goes on. The little query is the forecast of ‘showers’ which will no doubt have some impact if they arrive. Hamilton is a track that generally gives those on edge some little edge.

Race 3 (2.16pm) Evelyn Peach Memorial Maiden Plate

No.9 DIAMONDSANDPEARLS – Will Price (Barrier 6)

DIAMONDSANDPEARLS heads to Hamilton today where she will contest a 1400m Maiden. She has drawn gate nine and Will Price will ride.

DIAMONDSANDPEARLS is 39 days between runs heading into this but she bring reasonable recent form to this contest. She was beaten by a fairly handy one in Paramedic first up at Mildura and then got too far back when favourite at Ballarat and was only plain late. We think she may have jarred up a little on the synethetic surface. She likes a bit of give in the track which she will get today, she has been kept nice and fresh for this with visits to the beach and going on her first run where she was excellent, she can be competitive here.

She will be ridden where she is comfortable today and will be running on late and will be thereabouts in an open race.

TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $11 (as at 8am)
