The Henry Dwyer Racing stable has one runner today in KINTSUGI BELLE running at Geelong.
Geelong – Good (4)
The track has come up a Good 4 and to date much of the forecast rain has been missed. Expect at this stage that the track may well be upgraded to a Good 3 at some point but that will clearly depend on whether the showers arrive or now.
Race 3 (1pm) The Elephant and Castle Hotel 3YO Maiden
No.10 KINTSUGI BELLE – Michael Poy (Barrier 7)
KINTSUGI BELLE heads to Geelong today where she will make her debut and run in a 1440m Maiden. She has drawn gate ten and Michael Poy rides.
KINTSUGI BELLE has jumped out at Ararat and trialled at Cranbourne leading into this. She has been fairly one-paced in each of her pieces of work and she’s going to need a couple of runs to find her best this preparation. There’s no doubt the 1443m is a nice kick-off point for her and she will ultimately get out over further as the campaign unfolds. The rail out will favour those on pace which won’t suit her today and the race will be a great learning curve in what is a strong maiden.
She will be better over further next prep and is a watch today.
