The Henry Dwyer Racing stable has three runners today in MOSCOW RED running at Flemington, DANSE DE LA LUNE running at Moe and HEAVENLY BRIDGES running at Morphettville.
Flemington – Soft (5)
Race 3 (1.05pm) RMBL Investments Rising Stars Final
No.8 MOSCOW RED – Madison Lloyd a(3) (Barrier 1)
MOSCOW RED returns from a spell at Flemington today where she will contest an 1400m Fillies & Mares BM84 Handicap. She has drawn gate one and Madison Lloyd is booked to ride.
MOSCOW RED returns in really good order after having a few set-backs this preparation and she has had a longer spell than we would have liked so she can get over her issues. She trialled really well at St. Arnaud last week over 1200 metres on a wet track, which is her preferred surface, with today’s soft track ideal but with a preference for some more rain. Today’s competition does look a bit strong for her first-up and we will look more for her second-up over a mile or 2000 metres in a couple of week’s at The Valley where she should be more competitive.
She looks set for another good campaign as she nears turning eight and she is showing she has plenty of fight left in her, with today just a nice starting point for her this preperation.
TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $61 (as at 8am)

Moe – Heavy (8)
The track is rated a Heavy 8 and with more showers moving through into Saturday that isn’t going to improve. Moe is a track that handles rain well and while it will be testing ground, the track will give all horses their chance.
Race 2 (12.11pm) Erica Caravan Park 3YO Fillies Maiden
No.2 DANSE DE LA LUNE – Lucinda Boyd (Barrier 1)
DANSE DE LA LUNE resumes at Moe today where she will contest an 1117m Fillies and Mares Maiden. She has drawn gate one and Lucinda Boyd will ride.
DANSE DE LA LUNE has a tongue tie on for this return to the track and she’s a filly of some ability. This filly debuted at Camperdown last campaign and while it wasn’t the strongest race in the world, she ran well enough. She has had two strong jump-out performances at Geelong and St Arnaud ahead of this return to the track and all signs suggest she has come back in very good order. She cruised to the line in running second in clearly rain-affected going at St Arnaud most recently and provided she gets even luck off the inside then you’d expect her to figure in the finish.
There is still some improvement to come out of today but her ability will take her a long way in this field. She has good gate speed so will be in the first few from the barrier, she might be a little but vunerable in the last 100 metres but she has shown she still might have the class to win a race like this.
TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $5 (as at 8am)

Morphettville – Good (4)
Race 3 (1.17pm) TAB Handicap
No.9 HEAVENLY BRIDGES – Jess Eaton (Barrier 8)
HEAVENLY BRIDGES heads to Morphettville today where she will contest a 1000m BM82 Handicap. She has drawn in gate eight and Jess Eaton will ride.
We originally accepted at Flemington but that raced proved a bit strong so we have elected to go to Adelaide today with HEAVENLY BRIDGES. This looks a much weaker race for her today and an easier assignment than the field she met at Caulfield last start where she ran a great race finishing third. She will probably ping the barriers here and look to lead, with the 1000 metre race on the parks course likely to suit her and she will certainly give them something to chase.
With leading rider Jess Eaton onboard, she will be very competitive here and at nice each-way odds should be fighting out the finish.
TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $9 (as at 8am)
