DRESDEN GREEN resumes in a 1300m Benchmark 64 at Geelong today. He has drawn gate six and Lucinda Boyd will ride.
DRESDEN GREEN enjoyed a trial at Geelong with the blinkers on last week and he trialled well, the blinkers come off today as we are keen to start afresh with him with no gear to see where he is at. He will be ridden quietly by Lucinda from the barrier to see if he can finish off strongly, with today’s race most likely to short for him and the competition too sharp. He will improve off the run today as we kick-off his campaign and will be more likely a betting proposition later in the campaign.
