Henry Dwyer Racing – Saturday Preview

The Henry Dwyer Racing stable has one runner today with UNDER OATH running at Warracknabeal.

Warracknabeal – Good (4)

Warracknabeal is a track with two sweeping bends at either end of the circuit and a short, 210m home straight. Generally speaking it is an advantage to be on speed. The last meeting at the track was back in September 2020, so expect an even cover of grass. With fine weather forecast expect it to get to a Good 3 at some point.

Race 7 (4.31pm) Emmetts / John Deere Warracknabeal Cup

No.5 UNDER OATH – Lucinda Boyd (Barrier 4)

UNDER OATH heads to Warracknabeal today where he will contest the 1600m Warracknabeal Cup. He has drawn gate four and Lucinda Boyd will ride.

UNDER OATH has been freshened up and drops back to the mile after stretching out to 2040m back in February. He has only once missed a place at a mile and goes well at this trip. He hasn’t contested a mile race since winning back on May 3, 2020 and from gate four he should get a fairly comfortable run in transit. It’s not the strongest edition of the Warracknabeal Cup, UNDER OATH goes in nice and fresh with some good residual fitness and a good weight of 55.5kg. Lucinda rides the horse in work and knows him really well, she’ll put him where he is happy and will get him going when the time is right to give him every chance.

He’s over the odds here, he will run a good race and is a strong chance to be fighting out the finish.

TAB WIN Fixed Odds – $15 (as at 8am)
