The Henry Dwyer Racing stable has one runner today with TOFFEE STREET at Caulfield.
Hard to know what the track condition will be come race time with 10-20mm of rain forecast on raceday. The rail is out 6m and if that rain does fall you’d expect them to ease away from the inside. The 1000m course at Caulfield has just the one bend to navigate so barriers are of less importance and horses can certainly sit deep – especially with a southerly at their back – and win.

Race 4 (2.55pm) NEDS Blue Diamond Preview
No.9 TOFFEE STREET – Michael Poy (Barrier 6)
TOFFEE STREET heads to Caulfield today where she will make her debut in the Blue Diamond Prelude for Fillies over 1000m. She has drawn gate six and Michael Poy will ride.
TOFFEE STREET has both jumped-out and trialled nicely. She moved well without being asked to do a lot in hey synthetic track jump-out at Ballarat before taking out an official trial at Werribee without being asked to do much at all, albeit in moderate time for the morning. She moves nicely, should get a reasonable run from a middle alley and can be most competitive here on debut.
It’s a tricky race today and we haven’t really tested what is under the hood, she most likely won’t be a winning proposition and we are hoping she can account herself well against some strong competition.
