The Henry Dwyer Racing stable has two runners today at Ballarat in BEAUTIFUL DAYS and HEAVENLY BRIDGES.
Ballarat is rated a Heavy 8 but it isn’t bottomless and there is no more rain forecast. The rail is out to the 8m position having been 5m at the last meeting which was held on a Heavy track and as the meeting goes on they may well look for fresher ground out wide.

Race 3 (2.10pm) PipePro Directional Drilling 3YO Fillies Maiden Plate
No.1 BEAUTIFUL DAYS – Ben Allen (Barrier 7)
BEAUTIFUL DAYS heads to Ballarat today where she will make her debut in a 1200m 3YO Fillies Maiden. She has drawn gate seven and Ben Allen will ride.
BEAUTIFUL DAYS has had two jump-outs this preparation ahead of her debut. She wasn’t asked to do a huge amount in her first jump-out on August 27, but she moved well enough by the same token. She sat outside the leader in her most recent jump-out on September 17 and was given a solid test late, struggling a touch over the final 100m.
She looks to have her share of ability but the market seems to have her assessed about right at $21 and she will be running on late. Probably not a winning proposition today given the competition.

Race 5 (3.20pm) Porter Plant BM64 Handicap
No.6 HEAVENLY BRIDGES – Alana Kelly a(2) (Barrier 1)
HEAVENLY BRIDGES also heads to Ballarat today where she will contest a 1000m BM64. She has drawn gate one and Alana Kelly will ride.
HEAVENLY BRIDGES is drawn the inside alley which should give her a chance to kick up and lead as she certainly has the early toe to hold a few of these out. She is back in grade from her first-up where she was up on speed in a very fast run race before tiring over the final 150m. She was in that race a long way and it should bring her on for this assignment. She goes well second up, handles soft tracks and her peak ratings are up there with DEPLOYS ALONE as the best in this event.
HEAVENLY BRIDGES is a great winning hope off the inside alley, especially with two scratchings suggesting she should get a soft lead.
