HEIR TO THE THRONE (6) heads to Bendigo today where he will tackle a 2400m BM64. He has drawn gate six and Jayden Lloyd will ride.
As of this morning, Bendigo is rated a Soft 5 and it may well have improved close to a Good 4 by mid-morning. However, showers are expected from late morning and throughout the afternoon and that may well see the track worsen as the meeting goes on.
HEIR TO THE THRONE has been racing very well this campaign but is yet to find the winner’s circle. He dropped back to BM64 grade last start having contested better races throughout the campaign and ran another honest race, but he did have every chance. He maps really well from gate six and should settle just off HORSE FOR HIGHER (12) and NOT USUAL DREAM (2) who look the likely leaders. This is probably the easiest race he has contested in some time and he’s a great winning hope.
