This outstanding filly was our pick of the sale on type – she’s all class and looks like a filly that’s going to be able to run nice and early before coming into her own at three.
Her sire, Acrobat, burst onto the scene like a meteor, bolting in in the Inglis Nursery on debut before hurting himself and not being seen again. He had elite ability however obviously we didn’t get a chance to see the best of him on raceday. The filly’s dam, Rock Beauty, was a dual winner by Stratum who has had four to the races for three winners, the fourth having run five placings from six starts and a coming winner.
In a 1401 lot catalogue such as the Magic Millions it’s understandable how her pedigree may have been glossed over, however she certainly wasn’t missed on type. She was physically an absolute standout – great length, great girth, great rein and a super hind quarter. As you’d expect with such a good type of filly she moves effortlessly and has a great deal of swagger about her. We really, really like her and in Henry’s opinion, if she can’t run then nothing can.
