Henry Dwyer Racing – Sunday Preview

Bendigo

Race 3 – Invincible Beau

Jockey – Jamie Mott

1000m – Barrier 2

Three-year-old galloper Invincible Beau makes his stable debut over 1000-metres at Bendigo this afternoon. The gelded son of Brazen Beau has three jumpouts to his name this preparation, improving with each outing in readiness for today. Jockey Jamie Mott leaves from gate two and can let his galloper roll in the early parts, settling where comfortable, likely not far from the speed.

Just a field of seven but the battle for the front looks genuine, with all of Anhalt, Peace Baby, Redemption Time and Boudica Warrior possessing gate speed, setting up lovely a trail for Masked Marauder from the outset. Can make a case for a few here. Masked Marauder started favourite on debut, quickly finding the paddock after an uninspiring effort. Recent jumpouts have been good and draws for the softest of runs from the inside alley. One of the main hopes. Peace Baby was okay in three starts during winter, resuming here gelded and on the back of two nice jumpouts. No surprise to see him show up fresh. Anhalt looks the other chance in the race, though he’s over four-hundred days since his last start. Has been market support for him.

Invincible Beau also returns gelded today, having shown some ability in past campaigns. Recent jumpouts suggest a forward showing is on the cards, he can measure up and go close here. Chance.

Currently, Invincible Beau is a $4.20 chance in the market.

Bendigo

Race 8 – Imapagethree Girl

Jockey – Saffron Osborne

1100m – Barrier 5

Resuming mare Imapagethree Girl kicks off her preparation from the 1200-metre chute at Bendigo this afternoon. The daughter of Press Statement was sound in a recent Avoca trial and boasts an excellent first-up record heading into today. UK jockey Saffron Osborne leaves from gate five of seven and can let her mare roll in the early parts, settling outside or just behind the speed heading into the home bend.

Speed is just okay, expecting Fly On By and Real Gun to use their inside draws to hold forward positions, while Thinking Of Gerty may elect to roll across from the outside. Divino Cavallo was a good debut winner in Adelaide before a just okay effort when favourite last time out. May have had excuses post-race and no surprise to see her bounce back here. Can’t entertain at the price though. Thinking Of Gerty won well first-up, not having much go right at her past two outings. She can figure with even luck. Snippety Legend was okay when three lengths behind Miss Titeline first-up at Geelong. That galloper has since run well in town, each way claims. Others would surprise.

Imapagethree Girl has two wins and a minor placing from three first-up attempts, coming here in good order and forward showing is expected again today. Scratchings have depleted the field, leaving just six rivals to contend with. She finished third at this track and trip when fresh last time in. On best efforts, she can prove hard to beat today.

Currently, Imapagethree Girl is a $4.40 chance in the market.
